Thursday 23rd June 2005
Started the day in prayer before going off to work. I managed to read some of the scripture before work duties meant that I had to give my absolute and undivided attention to pressing issues.
It was a wild day at the office. Not content with my own workload, I found myself having to cover my colleague Pamela whilst she was on leave, plus four PCs decided to go bust during the day as well.
I was also called during the course of the morning to give blood at the local hospital – that went well save for Aaron my son calling me “blood-donut” rather than a blood donor (This one came close to being as funny as when we were invited to Annabelle niece’s daughter’s Christening, and Aaron exclaimed that they were going to “Crystallise” a baby! J)
In the afternoon I took my boys to the Calpe Rowing Club and had a wonderful time swimming with them in the pool. Also managed to have a good conversation with Tyrone Moya about the old days when we used to go out together.
Left the club at 7:00pm to get home and be ready for our cell meeting at Harry’s at 8:00pm. The Lord manifested Himself and ministered deeply. We prayed, worshipped and sung in the Spirit. The presence of God is so sweet! He knows just what we need – and then supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory! We then discussed Tom’s visit to Gibraltar and what had impressed us from these meetings. Of great significance to the people was the sense of unity and co-operation among different churches and the need to grow in our knowledge of each other and in relationship with each other.
We then had come time of fellowship (And lots of food) and then broke up at 11:00pm.
